“La Nouba” is Cirque’s permanent residence at Walt Disney World. The title originates from the French word to party, or “live it up”, and is geared for the family friendly atmosphere of the Magic Kingdom.
Continuing through November 12th this year, Disney hosts the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, which features entertainment by the Cirque performers and draws in “foodies and families” alike. The addition of the Cirque performers visually indulges the crowd of gourmets as they sample some of the finest dishes from around the world, raising the standard for “dinner and a show”.
Children are almost guaranteed to find something to their arbitrary tastes in what probably appears to them as a colorful candyland. Wine is a wise partner to the meals for adults, however, perhaps making the $125 price for admission a little easier to swallow. For a little bit less, get Cirque du Soleil tickets on their own.
