New Reviews and Show Updates

Cirque du Soleil Love

With the UAE continually anticipating “Quidam”, and positive reviews abounding for “Delirium” and “Love” (Cirque du Soleil tickets), plus some new deals and shows in the works, things are looking pretty sunny for Cirque this week.

“…Why risk desecrating The Beatles by dragging their name through the kitsch, camp and overblown grandeur that all too often defines the Las Vegas landscape? ‘Love’ answers that question. And does so profoundly,” writes Paul Gargano of LiveDaily.com

“With ‘Love’, Cirque du Soleil has created one of the best shows on earth for people who like the Beatles songs but aren’t necessarily Beatles fans,” observes Paul Cashmere of Undercover.com.au. He explains how the partnership of two iconic entertainment forces brings hesitant fans of either group into the world of both The Beatles and Cirque du Soleil.

In New York news, The Villager this week reported a plan to redevelop Pier 40 on Houston Street in the Lower West Side is meeting bids from Cirque du Soleil as well as several other groups, including sports teams, although no official word about the identities of the four major bidders has been released.
