Cirque Du Soleil returns to Washington D.C.!

Planning a visit to the nation’s capital? Now there’s one more reason to go: Cirque Du Soleil is making a grand return to Washington D.C. with its latest extravaganza, “KOOZA.” It opens Oct. 30 at The Plateau at National Harbor.

If you’re not familiar with “KOOZA,” it’s a return to tradition for the Montreal-based circus troupe. While many of their shows are fantasias of color and bizarre characters, often with surreal or dream-like stories, “KOOZA” is a back-to-basics show that impresses the audience with circus acrobatics and clowning. Very simple, but it’s the simple stuff that Cirque has excelled at for decades, and regularly employs in its other shows.

This will undoubtedly be the show to attend if you’re living on the east coast this fall.
