Ever wonder how the folks at Cirque du Soleil prepare their amazing shows? Who coordinates the curtain movements, the lighting effects, all the technical achievements? Wouldn’t it be a dream to wander backstage and get to see that mysterious area where the performers try on costumes, stretch, flex, then head off to the stage?
C/NET certainly did, and sent a reporter (and also a cheering Cirque Du Soleil fan!) backstage to find the scoop on how all the works. With photographs and plenty of copy about what goes on back there, it should prove a fascinating article for anyone who’s ever seen a Cirque Du Soleil show. The one he looked at in particular was “La Nouba” at Downtown Disney in Orlando, Florida.
There’s even a video to show you what goes on! Fans of Cirque are certainly fortunate that the company is so accessible, allowing people to see just a little bit how their magic comes together.
