Knight Gives Props to Cirque Du Soleil

Many of you remember Christopher Knight as Peter Brady from the 1970s, but he is now part of the reality show “Celebrity Circus” where he says Cirque Du Soleil sparked in him an interest in the circus life.  In an interview with UGO, Knight shares that although he had been to traditional three-ring circuses as a kid, he wasn’t awed by the circus life until seeing a Cirque Du Soleil show in California years ago.  Knight now competes against other celebrities for judges and viewers votes while performing circus acts like the high wire.  Both the judges and viewers votes count for 50 percent of the total score.

It is no wonder that Cirque Du Soleil can inspire viewers the way a typical three-ring circus cannot.  The death-defying stunts combined with the extravagant costuming and interesting story lines are so unique, Cirque Du Soleil can hardly be compared to a regular circus.  The number of extremely popular shows throughout the United States and the world also speak to the inimitable style.  Cirque Du Soleil could mean the return of children threatening to run away to the circus during fights with parents.
