Enjoy Kooza and Chicago Cuisine

Kooza has kicked off in Chicago and many fans were there for the opening. The story about a wandering loner, The Innocent, brings in the art of clowning and other stunts to wow audiences and make them easily relate to the main character. The popularity of this show will have many people from surrounding areas traveling to Chicago to see it. If you are unfamiliar with dining in the Windy City, you are in for a treat. Chicago eateries have as much atmosphere as they do flavor. Here are some of my favorites for casual dining:

  • Pizza: Many will recommend Unos, but I am more a fan of Gino’s East. Other Gino’s locations work as well, but if you are looking for great pizza and an even better time, trust Gino.
  • Mike Ditka’s: A must for any Bears fan. The memorabilia alone will keep you entertained the entire meal. On top of that, the food selection has both classic and adventurous options.
  • House of Blues: This one will have any music lover impressed. They have live music and a host of great treats.
  • Ed Debevic’s: If ‘50s nostalgia and a sarcastic wait staff are your idea of a good time, grab a burger at this famous joint.
  • Byron’s Hotdogs: Byron’s has a few different locations and has the best Chicago-style hotdog in the city. The only way you scoff at having a hot dog for a dinner before a show is if you’ve never had one from Byron’s.
