Young Contortionist Eyes Cirque

Some young stars can get their start on reality shows, but they may dream much, much bigger. For the 11-year-old contortionist Victoria Jacoby of New Jersey, her dreams involve the amazing shows of Cirque Du Soleil. Jacoby was hailed as amazing on the show America’s Got Talent. At the show’s conclusion, she was invited to go to Las Vegas where she will compete against other acts to win $1 million and her own show on the Vegas strip. Jacoby’s mother, Trish, said the couple discovered the talent in their adopted toddler in a strange way saying, “When we first got her and she started to toddle around, she was doing splits and things like that…we thought that was a little unusual so we took her to a gym in Pennsylvania and she had a lot of balance.”

This soon-to-be sixth grader is smart to want to be part of Cirque Du Soleil. The shows feature some of the best talent around including jugglers, clowns, high wire, trapeze and, of course, contortionists. Audiences frequently marvel at the Cirque Du Soleil shows the same way the audience of America’s Got Talent were in awe after seeing Jacoby. Cirque Du Soleil does have some young performers as well as seasoned veterans and even Olympians. To see all of the talent, get your Cirque Du Soleil tickets from StubHub.com.
