Though Cirque du Soleil’s critically condemned show “Criss Angel Believe” has become the first show in Cirque du Soleil’s long history to receive such poor reviews, magician and star Criss Angel himself is defending his efforts, along with Girl Next Door and recent lover Holly Madison. The two confessed during CNN’s Larry King Live that they had met in Hollywood during Angel’s NBC show “Phenomenon” and Madison had developed a “crush” on him instantly. “I had been a fan of his show, “Mind Freak,” and wanted to meet him,” the former Playboy said to King. “We just kept talking.” Though still part of the mansion, when she and Playboy king Hugh Hefner broke up earlier this year, the two began to talk more often, though they “did not start dating until recently.” Defending her lovers work, she commented saying “it’s absolutely brilliant and I don’t want to know what they’re thinking. I think they’re haters.” Angel, in turn, took the harsh comments in light of the fact that critics were the ones to blame, saying he “could care less about what critics think. Critics, in my opinion, are wannabes that have never — will never be.” He also added, with Madison by his side, that “Critics are people that have never created a show, never directed a show, never acted in a show. So — and, quite frankly, there’s a period called previews. And that’s meant to evolve and develop the show. People were reviewing the show that never even saw the show.” Though Angel was confident that his was was “number one” in Vegas, with nearly one hundred percent capacity every night, his facts may have been screwed as the Las Vegas Review Journal noted some tickets dealers are offering up major discounts. Nonetheless, these tickets are the best bet to a great New Year and beyond, so check out Cirque du Soleil Believe tickets now!
